3 Basic Skin Care Routine Steps.

When it comes to skin care, there is a lot of inaccurate information that is all over the internet. I would advice anyone looking to start a skin care routine to do their own research about their skin types and what products would work. This includes visiting a dermatologist to get your skin analysis.

Skin care helps to reduce acne, premature aging and boost skin complexion.

Below are 3 simple steps that anyone can incorporate in their daily routine, that will leave you feeling refreshed and confident all day without breaking the bank.

1. CLEANSING.

Our skin is continually exposed to external factors that may cause change in skin complexion and texture and thus we need to keep our skin clean.

Cleansing is simply washing off dirt, sweat oil or make up off the face using water, a wash cloth and a mild cleanser.

Apply cleanser on the wash cloth and gently scrub your face.

Finally, rinse off with luke warm water and pat dry with a clean, dry towel.

2. MOISTURIZING.

Moisturizing is simply hydrating the skin to keep it balanced, soft, smooth and healthy.

Make sure to apply your moisturizer on slightly damp skin for more hydration.

Note; It is important to first know your skin type before choosing the right moisturizer for your skin.

3, SUNSCREEN

Sunscreen is a protective lotion or spray that protects or shields against harmful sun rays that can cause dark spots, wrinkles and premature anti aging.

Apply a generous amount to the face and neck areas.

When choosing a sunscreen, go for  SPF 30 and above. Also make sure to look for gel based sunscreens as they blend well with the skin and  don’t leave white cast.

This three basic routine steps can be used day and night but skip the sunscreen at night.

You can add to the routine overtime, but do so gradually as using many products can cause skin irritation.
